Antico Casale Ruoppo
is situated on the Sorrentinian Peninsula
close to the village Torca that is part of
Sant’Agata sui due Golfi. Embedded into the
typical Mediterranean macchia vegetation,
the recently renovated former farm house is
placed on the hills of the peninsula’s south
coast and offers a magnificent view over the
Gulf of Salerno and the beginning of the
Amalfitanian Coast with the Li Galli and
Vetara islands.
The building is surrounded by
a 5000m2 garden area where -
among olive trees, wine yards, and vegetable
gardens - lawns invite to a sun bath and the
regionally typical pergolas create
shadow-fresh spots. Inside the farm house’s
ground floor you can still see the millstone
and olive press used here in former times to
produce olive oil.
Suspended in the balance
between countryside and sea and located
where the Sorrentinian Peninsula and the
Amalfitanian Coast pass into one another,
Antico Casale Ruoppo forms a perfect starting
point for excursions to the region’s most
important sites of tourist, cultural, and
archaeological interest and is the ideal
place for a vacation where culture,
relaxation, regional tradition, and the
discovery of old and new tastes harmoniously
combine.
It is as
well excellently suited for a vacation with small children. |
